Elite Fire Solutions Ltd are based in Laindon and working within the construction industry. Due to expansion we are looking for an additional member of staff to join our Accounts Department.

Skills required:

- Proficient in Sage line 50 (minimum 3 years experience)
- Intermediate excel skills with experience of Outlook & Word
- Proven experience with CIS Returns and payroll preparation (2 years experience)

Desirable Experience:

- simPRO software experience (not required, but would be an advantage)
- Payroll Submissions
- An understanding of the CIS VAT Reverse Charge

Responsibilities will include:
The preparation of monthly and weekly payroll for employees and subcontractors. This will include checking schedules and tying up invoices against works orders. Being able to resolve issues or queries by liaising with other members of staff or disputing with subcontractors.

Processing employee expenses

Entering purchase ledger invoices.

Credit checking new clients

Dealing with the onboarding of new subcontractors and employees

Assisting with sales ledger, tying up paperwork as and when required

Receiving client purchase orders, and tying them up to quotes on simPRO, our job management system, converting quotes to jobs.

Assisting with other accounts functions during sickness and annual leave

Some ad-hoc admin and accounting duties.

- Ability to follow processes and pick up new software and systems quickly
- A can do attitude with a curious mindset
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative when required

This is a good opportunity for someone to have a varied position in a busy, but small, accounts team within a growing business.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
