I am currently working with a fantastic private psychology service based in Kendal. They specialise in working with children, young people and families. They are looking to hire a Clinical Psychologist to join their growing team on a part time basis.

The company focus on facilitating every individual child’s movement through any challenges they may face, focusing on emotional, behavioral, relational, or developmental issues, and are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with a passion for working with children and young people.

This position has fantastic growth opportunities, with loads of training and career progression on offer.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Assessing and treating own caseload of clients and maintains associated records.
- Providing, developing and managing highly specialist interventions.
- Clinically supervising less experienced psychologists, assistant(s), trainee(s).
- Co-ordinating provision of specialist services.
- Providing specialist advice to other professions and carers.
- Assisting in the overall day-to-day running and management of the company under the guidance of the Clinical Director.

**Essential Criteria**:

- HCPC registered
- Clinical experience working with children, families and young people

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience in looked-after or adopted children and early trauma and attachment disorders in children
- Experience in trauma-based therapies such as DDP and Theraplay®
- Valid UK driving licence

The company are offering a salary of **£32.7k-£36.6k DOE**, and the role is **22.2 hours per week**, typically from **10am-3pm 3 days per week.**

**This is a hybrid role, with 1 of the 3 days worked remotely.**
