Primary Tutor

**About us**

Our tutors are self-employed contractors who have complete autonomy in their tutoring whilst ensuring that our key values are integral in all sessions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students aged 5-11 years in maths and English.
- Assess students' needs and develop personalized learning plans
- Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their goals
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning

**Experience**:

- QTS or HLTA qualification
- At least one year classroom experience
- Knowledge of special education techniques desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Previous tutoring experience is preferred but not required

Please note that this is not a full-time position and you will work on a self-employed basis. Tutoring sessions may be scheduled during after-school hours or on weekends, depending on the availability of both the tutor and the student. Sessions can be organised online, at the tutor's house or student's house.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £20.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
