Associate Lecturer in Sport Marketing

We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Lecturer A for the following module:
- Sport Marketing, level 7
- 13.5 hours teaching (1.5 hours per week: 6-7.30pm in-person)
- Friday evenings, over 9 weeks: 6 October to 1 December 2023
You will have knowledge of Sport Marketing and experience of teaching marketing students within the FE/ HE sector and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach (or demonstrate equivalent professional/industry level experience).
Further to the person specification, essential requirements for this role are:
- A postgraduate degree in the field of marketing and possibly working towards a PhD;
- Experience of working in the sports industry in a marketing/commercial role;
- Teaching experience, ideally working with adult/mature students within the FE/HE sector, would also be an advantage;
- A good understanding of the needs of part-time adult learners;
- Demonstrably effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills across a range of relevant contexts;
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently as appropriate;
- Willing to engage in reflective practice.
**Remuneration**
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £65.13 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 7 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
