Park Maintenance and Groundskeeper

The Park Maintenance and Groundskeeper are required to assist in the running of a busy holiday park, comprising static holiday homes, and camping pitches. Set on the edge of the main tourist area of Ingoldmells and close to the beach, we have onsite fishing facilities and associated amenity blocks.

This is a full-time position. Usually, 40 hours over a 5 day week using annualised hours, which could increase during busy periods, including weekends and bank holidays, the position will include on-call hours to deal with emergencies.

As the main point of contact for all park maintenance and grounds work issues, the successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner and strong attention to detail.

Applicants should have previous experience within this type of role and be willing to undertake a variety of duties. These would include, but are not limited to; ensuring high standards are maintained across the Park, connecting up newly sited holiday homes, siting static holiday homes and touring caravans, The use of strimmers and hedge trimmers to ensure upkeep of park grounds, the use of hand tools and basic light machinery to assist in daily duties as required, ensuring that all areas are kept clear of litter and debris by using the equipment provided, carrying out repairs and general upkeep on behalf of holiday home owners, compliance with relevant health and safety regulation, duties will also include basic joinery, electrical work and plumbing.
