Ingenuity Studios is seeking a Lighting Artist, responsible for the lighting and rendering of CG characters, objects, and environments in live-action episodes, feature films, music videos and commercials. Teamwork and collaboration are key as this role interacts with a variety of departments, including VFX Supervisors and Production, working closely with one another to accomplish all tasks. Our Artists require a high degree of technical skill and artistic judgement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Light / look develop for integration of CG elements
- Light / look develop for full CG shots
- Interface with other departments to collect assets and shots forward
- Optimize your render set-ups for efficient render farm usage and to improve the quality of results
- Ability to create lighting setups to be used by other artists

**Requirements**:

- At least one year of experience as a Lighter in a VFX Production environment
- Knowledge of Houdini or a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of Maya
- Experience with Renderman a plus
- An understanding of compositing techniques in Nuke
- A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
