Welder/fabricator

We are a recruitment business advertising this temp to perm vacancy on behalf of our client.

Our client, based in Caldicot, is looking for a fabricator/welder to assist with the production of their product range.

Previous experience in a similar role would be essential, as would the ability to carry out work from verbal instructions, to read fabrication drawings, and follow detailed specification. Use of handheld equipment used in welding and metal fabrication will be required.

The successful applicant needs to be self-motivated and able to work individually and as part of a team and must have the ability to work in a safe manner following health, safety, environment and quality guidelines and instructions. Additionally, they will be able to
- Fabricate to a high standard as product are of a high specification.
- Read and follow engineering drawings.
- Maintain safe working practices.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace
- Be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to work alone.
- Must be motivated and a good timekeeper.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 07.00 - 17.00, and Friday 8.00 - 12.30.
