Are you a highly networked Executive Recruitment / Recruitment expert seeking your next step to define and transform the future of how TfL keeps London, moving, working and growing through people?

You’ll join an established and multi award-winning team to help drive transformation by bringing your innovative and curious mind-set, expertise and cutting-edge approaches to the table and your ability to create a ‘uniquely TfL’ recruitment and on-boarding experience for senior level talent. Your mission will be to attract top talent for TfL using your insights through internal and global talent mapping exercises and refined executive EVP messaging to position TfL as an employer of choice.

This will include working closely with strategic workforce planning, diversity & inclusion, early careers, talent management and executive leadership to gain an understanding of the business unit and TfL’s long-term strategy, identifying critical roles and begin building end to end executive talent acquisition strategies to find top talent. You’ll own the full life cycle of the executive search process at senior leadership levels, delivering successful recruitment activity to ensure TfL has the right talent, with the right skills, values, and behaviours, in an inclusive organisation, representative of London, where all talents can thrive, delivering our business plan.

You’ll bring your bold, creative, and strong recruitment perspective of the market and talent acquisition to senior hiring leaders, help build and transform future thinking of talent bringing to life our diversity and inclusion ambitions using creative techniques and transferable skills and industries. Through strong planning and persistent networking efforts you’ll be recognised as the talent expert establishing credibility in knowing where talent sits, which employers and industry and where they sit though pre-existing relationships. Your talent expertise will also include internal top talented employees and where their potential career might take them in future at TfL. You’ll work with our leaders to drive EVP messaging across social recruitment platforms and implement new processes to drive results that ensure we hire the very best talent to meet business needs.

You’ll work with other members of the wider talent and D&I team to implement succession planning approaches through targeted campaigns and undertaking a review of both internal and external talent pipelines for future priorities.

You’ll have a relentless focus on priorities in a resource constrained environment, expert problem solver and creative thinker. The Talent team is made up of Organisational Development and Leadership (Talent Management), Skill and Employment as well as Talent Acquisition and Executive hiring. Each area plays a unique and critical role in defining a core arm of the strategy that enables TfL to attract, retain and develop the right levels of talent across a very large matrix organisation. This team is also responsible for developing and shaping the TfL EVP strategy and new sourcing strategies and boiler plates for Diversity and Inclusion, elevating our recruitment approach and practices.

**Skills, knowledge and experience - all essential unless stated otherwise**

**Your experience**
- Extensive experience recruiting across complex business operations within a large matrix organisation. The preference is on operations, engineering and or construction but not mandatory
- Must have either in house or a blend of in house and agency recruitment experience.
- Proven success of executive level end to end, 360 recruitment processes and research techniques
- A strong research background, market mapping and or talent profiling expertise
- External developments and best practice in talent and resourcing
- Executive level communication, coaching and influencing skills are critical to create credible and open relationships on talent
- Organised, driven and passionate about talent acquisition and inquisitive to find out world class techniques
- Driven to demonstrate the courageous ability to solve challenges with high levels of complexity
- Must have strong communication skills, upwards, diagonally and horizontally
- Must have strong Excel experience
- Full end to end recruitment value chain experience that can shape and attract top passive talent, internal and external with a holistic approach
- Hiring senior leaders into a large complex matrix organisation
- Must have a mix of both agency and in house recruitment experience and not just agency
- Strong planning and organising in addition to strong attention to detail
