If you want to make a real difference to people's lives by assisting them to find a way forward with their problems, and need flexibility in when you give your time, this is the role for you.

Adviceline is primarily based at our Advice and Information Hub in Ashington. Once fully trained, there are opportunities to work at home. Depending on demand, there may be opportunities to volunteer in our other offices.

We need people who can commit to at least 5-8 hours each week for a minimum of 12 months. However, on Adviceline, you have flexibility in when you give these hours.

Previous adviser experience is not necessary as full training is provided. Our adviser training programme is very thorough, but you could be advising after 6 months and fully trained after 12 to 18 months, or sooner. Trainees are fully supported throughout their training journey. Basic IT skills are needed.
