Electricity North West is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Engineer to join our inclusive team. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.

As a Cable Jointer, you will be responsible in delivering all associated works at the customer service position, ensuring the required outputs are delivered and in accordance with all technical and safe working practices. You will be based from home but will work from either our Preston Depot or Walkden Depot.

In your first week in this Cable Jointer role, you can expect to:

- Maintain and support the standards of Health and Safety as agreed across ENW ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues and customers
- Drive excellent customer service for internal and external customers
- Undertake Cable Jointing works on all ENWS work streams
- Complete Point of Work Risk Assessments before starting any works.

To succeed in this flexible role, you should have proven working experience as a LV Cable Jointer together with a City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification or a recognised Craft Apprenticeship and Vocational Training equivalent to NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering. You will also need to be proficient in the use of MS Office and have experience in BS 6423 and BS 7671.
