**Care and Support Worker**

**1 x Post of 20 hours per week**

**Day £10.90 per hour**

**Start date: September 2023**

We provide services to people with a large variety of identified care and support needs to enhance or sustain their independent living skills.

We are seeking committed, flexible, people-centred care and support workers to work as part of our excellent team.

We are a learning organisation and offer a variety of staff training and development options to enhance your career.

You will need to demonstrate:

- Experience of providing adults with high quality personal care and support.
- Knowledge of Person-centred approaches and experience in implementing person-centred tools
- Creativity in meeting complex individual and community needs
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Confidence to deal with difficult situations
- Willingness to assist with domiciliary and personal care tasks as part of an individual’s care and support plan
- Experience of liaising with other agencies and partners including statutory services, and voluntary and community sector agencies in Hull
- Experience of safeguarding vulnerable people and managing risk
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, overtime, and out of hours call-out rota

An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful applicant.

You must be mobile and have access to suitable transport in order to provide care and support to individuals in the community.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
