**Production Planning Manager - Supply Chain - Refresco UK - Bridgwater, Somerset**

Refresco, the world’s leading independent soft drinks manufacturer seeks a commercial, analtytical and resourceful **Production Planning Manager** to lead a team of production schedulers at our Bridgwater site, responsible for finalising production schedules on our 26 lines and crucial to making sure Refresco drinks, many of which are leading world brands,reach the tables of families across the UK Refresco is always changing, always innovating, always growing, and if you are successful in this role there will be all sorts of opportunity to grow your career within Refresco in future.

**About the Role**

The role reports directly to the Site General Manager and leads a team of production schedulers, responsible for the creation of the schedules for 26 production lines across the plant. This role is responsible for ensuring the schedules are set up to meetcustomer service level targets, and give the production lines the most efficient schedule to minimise cost and improve efficiency. You will also have a dotted reporting line to the Planning Manager in our central Supply Chain team based at our Refresco UKKegworth HQ. Essentially you will be taking the plan from the central supply chain team and refining it with the on-site production team and then communicating the final agreed plan back to the centre.

**About You**

Due to the nature of this role you will ideally need production scheduling experience gained within a supply chain function in an FMCG manufacturing environment, not necessarily in food and drinks, and will have experience leading a team. You can demonstratethat you have improved planning and scheduling processes in your current or a previous supply chain planning related role so that they always remain sustainable and consistent.

You will be self-motivated, willing to get into detail but able to rise above it to summarise and recommend one best course of action.You will be results-orientated with considerable drive and resilience, willing to see a job through until the conclusion.You will be expected to work collaboratively with local teams and colleagues and be able to influence and communicate with them, and across different levels throughout the organisation, with ease.
