**Equans is looking for a External Site Assistant to join our team in Baxi, Preston, PR5 6FN on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £22,308 and £22,500 depending upon skills and experience and benefits package.**

**Shift Pattern**:730-1630 Monday-Thursday. 0730-1130 Friday with a half hour unpaid Lunchbreak each day.

**What will you deliver?**:

- Emptying of external waste bins, including litter picking and bagging up rubbish, making sure it is disposed of correctly.
- Support the HSE team members in the waste collection, segregation, and disposal of site generated waste streams.
- Undertake occasional gardening duties as required.
- Where requested undertake general labouring activities to support minor maintenance / project works.

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Basic IT skills
- Competent at basic DIY repairs and maintenance.
- Knowledge of cleaning materials and their use, including cleaning chemicals and their safe use and storage as per their Safety Data Sheet.
- Knowledge H&S procedures and precautions, including COSHH
