Driver Operater

VTA Recruitment are working with a local managed service provider to recruit a driver / operative.

Hours are Monday to Friday 37hrs 6.30am to 2.25pm rate of pay is £11.59 and £15.01 after 37hrs

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and drive various types of vehicles, including tippers and Small Mechanical sweepers
- Safely load and unload cargo
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating vehicles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues

**Requirements**:

- Valid 7.5ton driver's license with a clean driving record,
- Previous experience in driving commercial vehicles, 7.5ton or above.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, manual transmission vehicles
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers
