Eyfs Teacher

A primary school located in South Derby, DE11, are currently recruiting for an EYFS/Nursery teacher to join them from January 2023 until the end of the academic year.
They are looking for a teacher who has prior experience and is confident in the planning, preparation, and assessment of children. The successful teacher must be dedicated, enthusiastic and have a drive to make a positive impact on the start of a child's education.
Main responsibilities include:

- Delegating roles to X3 TAs
- 39 place nursery with full time and part time children intake
- Using 'Insight' for online recording of pupils development
- Delivering lessons focusing on letters and sounds, spelling, phonics, and reading and writing
- Implementing the curriculum with various learning strategies where the children can use their creativity and imagination to learn
- Providing a safe and positive environment for the children
- Ensuring that the health and safety of all children is maintained during all activities
- Attend staff meetings and training days
