**About this career opportunity**

We are currently seeking a Senior Foresight Consultant to work in our Foresight team in London. Arup’s Foresight team is a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, researchers, consultants, engineers, architects and designers.

Our work involves helping clients understand future risks and opportunities, and the development of forward-looking strategies, visions and roadmaps. From envisioning the future of aviation and airport infrastructure to researching the future of the post-pandemic office, we answer complex questions that require a holistic understanding of the future.

The role offers a significant opportunity to shape Arup’s future business, client engagement, and strategy implementation.

You will support our foresight advisory projects, internal and external strategy implementation, client engagement programmes, and thought leadership activities. You will help build and grow our capacity and skillset around strategic planning, leadership engagement, insights, and analytics.

The role will have a strong UK-focus initially, but will expand in time to cover the wider region covering India, Middle East and Africa.

**If so, you'll likely have**:

- A strong interest in the future of the built environment and better futures for people, place and planet.
- Experience in a strategy and/or foresight related role, including responsibilities for strategic planning, programme management, stakeholder engagement and/or insights and analytics
- Strong research and writing skills
- Solid experience in key frameworks, methodologies and approaches applied in typical corporate strategy programmes as well as corporate foresight
- The ability to independently manage projects, including project planning and coordination with other teams
