Claims Administrator

The Claims Administrator supports the Claims team with administrative tasks, demonstrating dedication, a detail-oriented approach and providing outstanding service to claimants.
The Claims Administrator is responsible for efficiently handling all administrative tasks of the claims process, ensuring our policyholders receive timely and accurate documentation and Neilson’s internal record keeping is accurately maintained.
**Experience**:
Minimum requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in administration / support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to correspond both verbally and written to exceptionally high standards
- Demonstrable attention to detail capabilities, the ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficient computer skills
Desirable requirements
- Knowledge of UK insurance industry, regulations, and standards
- Knowledge of practice and procedures in a highly regulated Financial Services environment
Duties & Responsibility:
- Creation of Claims package and file creation to initiate the Claims process for new claims.
- Returning confidential/sensitive documentation to claimants
- Uploading documentation to Neilson’s policy administration platform
- Uploading claims packages to external partner workflow systems
- Printing and mailing customer letters produced by Claims team
- Sending Claims outcome letters to claimants
- Ensure all logs are updated accurately and on time
- Plan, organise and prioritise workloads to meet agreed service levels
- Liaise with other business areas where relevant and maintain records of all correspondence
- Providing feedback to other teams in the business and within the team
- Proactively review/challenge current processes and suggest ways to improve the customer journey
**Job Type**: Part-time
Expected hours: 25 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Windsor: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Administrative: 3 years (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Windsor
