Manchester, United Kingdom Coop Full time

**Colleague Insight Researcher**
£31,000 to £38,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
Manchester city centre (hybrid working)

We’re looking for a Colleague Insight Researcher to join us in Manchester as part of our Insight team. At Co-op, all our colleagues have a voice, and we want them to be heard. As a Colleague Insight Researcher, you’ll act as the voice of our colleagues, working on a variety of projects spanning across our Co-op (e.g. Food, Logistics, Funeralcare, Insurance, Legal Services, and Support Centre).

We’ll look to you to work collaboratively with partners to understand what they want to find out from our colleagues and, using your knowledge of research techniques, provide recommendations on the best way(s) to achieve this. You’ll run research projects and use the insights gathered to provide useful recommendations to advise decision making; helping build a better Co-op for all our colleagues

**What you’ll do**
- Deliver research and insight projects which support decision makers to better understand the experiences and perceptions of colleagues across the business
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, analysing and understanding the data and turning it into compelling stories which influence key decision makers
- Provide advice on the best research methodology to use to gather insight (e.g. a discussion group, one to one interview, survey, workshop etc)
- Deliver research and insight projects about our customers and members as and when required

**This role would suit people who have**
- Experience analysing qualitative and quantitative data and turning this into meaningful insights
- Good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to present to a wide range of audiences
- Good communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex language to a non-technical audience
- The ability to plan your own workload and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- The ability and willingness to learn how to use new software as necessary

**Why Co-op?**

If you’ve got the skills and experience we’re looking for, we can offer you a competitive salary and great benefits package which includes 30% off Co-op branded products in our food stores (as well as other discounts on Co-op products and services). You’ll also get:

- An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
- 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
- A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
- Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
- Coaching and training to support your career development
- Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
- YuLife - an app that rewards you for exercising with discounts and vouchers for your favourite brands

**Building an inclusive work environment**

At Co-op, we’re proud to do things a different way. As one of the world’s largest co-operatives, owned by millions of members, community is at the heart of what we do. Since our Co-op was founded in 1844, we’ve had a clear social purpose, and everything we do as a business helps to build a fairer world for our members, customers, colleagues, and communities.

We'll ask whether you’d like to be considered under the Disability Confident scheme when you apply.

If we invite you to take part in the recruitment process for any of our jobs, we’ll ask you if you need any reasonable adjustments to enable you to participate.

You can find out more about our recruitment process at jobs.coop.co.uk/apply-process.
