**About The Role**:
Cornerstone Healthcare are looking for a Housekeeper to join the domestic team at South Africa Lodge.

South Africa Lodge provides high quality services to 99 residents across 6 specialised units requiring effective, varying complex care as well as providing a comfortable and safe environment. CQC rated GOOD.

**About you**
- Positive attitude to residents and a commitment to provide high standards of housekeeping
- Ability to work alone as well as part of a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families

**Role of a Housekeeper**
- Responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home
- You will vacuum, polish and mop floors and ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
- You will receive training to understand health and safety issues and the use of chemicals that we use and any equipment that you need to use
- Checking equipment is stocked, clean and ready for the next day
- Although you will not be delivering direct care to our residents, you will have a responsibility to ensure our residents are kept happy while cleaning

**Hours of work**

Working for us gives you more time for you with a 7 out of 14 day working pattern

Week 1 - 3 days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (08.00 to 18.00)

Week 2 - 4 days: Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday (08.00 to 18.00)

Total average hours per week - 35 per week including every other weekend

Cornerstone Healthcare Group provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs. Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them unsuitable to live in dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.

We currently have 3 homes based in Waterlooville, Curdridge and Mytchett and are in the process of building 2 new homes in Bristol and Wincanton which are due to open in 2024.
