Data Protection Advisor

Overview

Our client's main objective is to deliver outstanding care with compassion and kindness, utilizing cutting-edge technology operated by skilled and dedicated teams.

As a Data Protection Advisor, your role will involve supporting the Data Protection Officer in providing guidance and advice regarding data protection and GDPR within the organization. You will also assist in ensuring the company's full compliance with UK GDPR and other privacy laws.

**Requirements**:
We are seeking an individual with excellent skills in engaging stakeholders, particularly at senior levels, including the board. You should be a confident influencer who can effectively translate complex legal processes into simple language and communicate them to individuals at all levels.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Supporting and acting on behalf of the Data Protection Officer in informing and advising the company's management and staff on their obligations under Privacy Laws, documenting these activities and the received responses.

Being a skilled and influential communicator, engaging stakeholders at an executive level.

Assisting the Assistant Data Protection Officer in monitoring ongoing data protection impact assessments.

Tracking and ensuring appropriate actions are taken in response to personal data breaches.

Assisting the Data Protection Officer in addressing inquiries from individuals whose data is processed (e.g., employees, patients) regarding data processing and their rights under privacy laws.

Managing a database of data breaches and the corresponding actions taken.

Conducting audits of personal data held and processed by the organization and third parties.
