Midday Supervisor

**About The Role**:
Hours per week: 6.5 hrs per week (11.55-1.10pm Monday to Friday Term time only)

Lunchtime supervisors support the catering staff to supervise children eating their hot meals in our school hall and then facilitate and support children while out at play.

**Who we are looking for**

The school is currently working hard to promote a positive atmosphere at lunch times and our key priority is to appoint someone who can support us with this. The key qualities for this job are:

- the ability to relate to children and support them in the playground context;
- readiness to undertake some lifting and handling of tables and chairs on a rota basis with other staff. (Manual handling training will be provided);
- the ability to work as part of a team;
- good communication skills;
- a calm, patient manner;
- undertake a successful DBS check

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years’ service.

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
