**Public Sector - Local Authority**

**Full Time - Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week**

**Temporary Role - 3 months with likely extension**

**£20.29 per hour PAYE / £26.81 per hour Umbrella**

**Hybrid Working - 3 days in office/on site, 2 days per week at home**

Our client, a West-London Local Authority are seeking a number of Neighbourhood Housing Officers to join their teams in Hanwell and Southall.

We have 2x vacancies based in the Hanwell Housing Hub and 1x vacancy that will cover Hanwell and Southall Housing Hubs.

**HYBRID WORKING** - Mondays and Thursdays are office days. A third day in the week will be for home visits. Should there be a requirement to be in office more days in the week then this must be adhered to.
- Strong income recovery experience
- Strong knowledge of Housing Legislation
- Previous Housing Officer experience

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**:

- Improve outcomes for Ealing residents by providing a customer orientated service in line with Council values and objectives
- Provide support to residents across a range of tenures throughout the lifetime of their tenancies/leases.
- Maximise income collection through proactive management of arrears.
- Proactively manage housing assets, anticipate the needs of residents and contribute to a safe neighbourhood.
- Work as part of a team to deliver excellence, solve problems and deliver value for residents.
- Provide support, advice and ownership of resident complaints, resolving where possible and coordinating where shared across services and departments.

- Complaint resolution
- Void time
- Safety records
- Activity (e.g. visits, verifications, engagement meetings, home safety checks, estate inspections etc.)
