Anchorage Chambers is a thriving business located in waterfront offices near Media City in Salford Quays, specialising in Nominating & Supervising Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs). We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the MOC process, acting as a liaison between clients and creditors, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review proposals and prepare for the Meeting of Creditors.
- Facilitate communication between clients and creditors before, during, and after the meeting.
- Obtain and organize proxy votes.
- Log all claims and proxies in the relevant system.
- Prepare necessary documents following the meeting.
- Notify regulatory bodies, creditors, and clients about the meeting outcome within statutory timescales.
- Liaise with clients and creditors regarding modifications or adjournments of the meeting.
- Maintain accurate case files in accordance with department policies.
- Issue RX1 forms to the land registry.
- Set up payment schedules with clients.
- Handle ad hoc duties and projects as required.
- Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act to safeguard client data.
- Compile all necessary paperwork in accordance with current legislation.
- Arrange clients' initial IVA contributions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
