As a Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor, you will:

- **Support Classroom Learning**:

- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.

**A day in the life of a Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor**:
Arrive at school, review the day's schedule, and prepare materials for morning activities. Welcome students and assist with morning routines. Provide individual support to students who need help settling in. Assist the class teacher during the lesson, offering support to students, answering questions, and helping with classroom management. Supervise students during morning break, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. Lunchtime supervision, interacting with students and encouraging positive social interactions. Cover a class in the absence of a teacher, following the provided lesson plan and maintaining classroom order. Assist with afternoon lessons, focusing on differentiated instruction and supporting diverse learning needs. End-of-day activities, helping students pack up and providing feedback to the class teacher on student progress and behaviour. Debrief with the teaching team, discuss strategies for student support, and prepare for the next day.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Psychology (required)
- Experience in an educational setting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
