Junior Mechanical Project Manager - Lincolnshire - Salary DOE

A well established mechanical and electrical building services contractor operating 15 years + is seeking a electrical project manager to join their team. The well established company is family owned with a fantastic reputation, giving them repeated work fromvarying clients including; educational, recreational and public sector
**Your new role**
This role will suit a person who is looking for a career in a forward progressing industry, training complete with mentoring to develop their project management skills will be in house and via college attendance The role will include responsibility along sidesenior engineers for the end-to-end delivery of projects ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the full scope as detailed in the project specification.
This role involves but is not limited to assisting with, or taking lead on:

- Planning and Management of the end-to-end life cycle of projects
- Preparing and issuing RAMS, monitoring H&S plan, preparing and issuing Technical Submissions in advance of major orders, overseeing deliveries and appropriate hire goods when applicable, liaising with subcontractors & specialists, coordination of works, ensuringthat the highest standards are achieved and maintained on all works that we carry out.
- Responsibility for arranging, scheduling and the monitoring of all required commissioning / testing of equipment & systems within the contracts and ensuring that full records are obtained and retained.
- Management of financial aspects, ensuring betterment can be achieved wherever possible but never to the detriment of the project quality.
- Building & maintaining good relationships with the project site team inclusive of client/end user through to maintenance team.
- Liaising with the design team, consultants, clients and providing all the relevant information and answers.
- Control and challenge project scope
- Produce Project Initiation Documents
- Project Administration including weekly highlight reports, minutes and Risk Register
- Identify project dependencies and risks ensuring they are identified and managed
- Quality Management
- Effective resource scheduling
- Successful delivery of planned projects
- Working effectively with all team members
- Providing High levels of customer satisfaction

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Very IT literate - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels, both written and verbal. - Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail - Ability to be flexible and workas part of a team. - Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines. - Knowledge of building and construction industry is advantageous - Leadership skills - Commercial, business focused and pragmatic, able to work independently. - Awareness of individualHealth and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures. - Ability to take ownership of and progress issues to resolution - A self-starter with a flexible but robust approach, a good team player and able to work aspart of a team. - The ability to effectively and proactively plan and co-ordinate key activities. - Positive, enthusiastic and supportive individual Required/advantageous qualifications / Experience: Experience working for a Construction Industry at a similarmanagement level Experience of working on Commercial projects UK Driving Licence
