**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
Within EMEA and Asia, the Senior Insights Executive will support the delivery of CSM’s business plan. The role exists in a lean Strategy & Insights team and will involve locating, collating, analysing, and distributing social listening data and insight on the sports and entertainment industries.

The role is mostly internally focussed and will help put colleagues and teams in Brands, Rights and Business Development on the front foot by proactively providing information and insights relating to social media and by enabling fact-based decision-making wherever possible. You’ll get to work on projects for some of the world’s most exciting brands, rights holders and media owners in the worlds of sport and entertainment.

The role will have a dual reporting line, with day-to-day direction, management and mentoring provided by the Insights Manager, and oversight provided by the Head of Insights.

Support consultancy projects and account activity in EMEA/Asia
- Provide data and insight across current programmes/projects through analysis of social listening data from third-party analytical tools
- Use social media analytics to support activity and projects within individual CSM accounts
- Provide analytical support to the Insights Manager

Support business and partnership development activity
- Provide analytical support to client retention and business development activity including pitches/RFP responses
- Use social and other data to inform the creative process against client briefs and RFPs

Become an expert user of relevant data tools
- Become an expert user of existing CSM social listening data sources (i.e. Meltwater, Klear, Audiense, or others)
- Proactively identify open-source data that can support and corroborate social analytics

**CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ insights/research/analysis experience either agency or clientside
- Strong familiarity with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint), and relevant Google tools (e.g. Trends)
- Strong interest in the social media industry and dynamics as well as from a user perspective
- Ideally, experience of social media analytics, and experience in using analytics platforms (e.g. Meltwater, Audiense, influencer identification, etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ideally, a strong interest in the mechanics of the sports and entertainment industries
- Proactive and self-starting allied with a collaborative mindset
- Able and willing to employ critical thinking to develop and express fact-based points of view
- Able to self-manage in a multi-tasking environment and to prioritise competing activities and demands
- Able to confidently build and nurture relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients
- Professional - maintain high standards of work in the face of tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Curious - natural inquisitiveness and a desire to hunt for new information
