Flexographic Printer

Sturdy Print & Design are a family run business, established in 1973 and operating in Skelmersdale in the North West of England.

We are looking to expand our team with a flexographic printer to add capacity to our existing label printing department.

You will work with state of the art machinery, printing and die cutting labels to specification. The company have recently made signinficant investment to expand its label printing operation and as such requires another skilled operative to keep up with demand.

**Main duties include**:

- Operating flexographic label printing press to produce labels to specification.
- Inspecting the quality of labels being printed and finished.
- Producing jobs to the instructions provided.
- Being detail oriented, able to comprehend complex work instructions to produce finished goods to specification.
- Have experience working within a label printing company.
- Have experience operating a flexographic press.
- 'Know what good looks like' when it comes to inspection and print quality.
- Have a keen eye for detail and be meticulous when following work instructions.
- Be a team player.
- Possess strong communication skills.

37.5 hours per week.
