£30'000-£40'000 + DAYS BASED ROLE + Training + Pension + Overtime + holiday
Do you have a background running production machinery in a manufacturing environment?
Are you looking for a role on days with a growing company where you will be provided training and the opportunity to develop your career?
In this role you will work as part of a team in a fast paced environment, running and fault finding production machinery.
This is a great role for a production engineer or mechanical technician to join a rapidly expanding companies where you can play a key role in this companies growth and development,
The role:
*Days based role
- Monday to Friday.
*To assist the Department Head in maintaining product output in the Lathe Area Department.
*To investigate and where possible offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions.
*To assist Lathe Machine production when necessary to maintain production output.
*To assist in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff.
*To diagnose faults and repair Lathe Machines and associated Equipment.
*To complete and update tasks using a Maintenance based software.
*To provide assistance as and when required to any and all members of the Lathe Area team.
*To provide assistance to Service Engineers as and when required.
*To assist with any other requirements associated with the Lathe Area Department.
The person:
*Have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
*Have experience using a range of toolroom and workshop based machinery.
*Have a good mechanical aptitude and be able to diagnose faults associated with machine wear and component quality.
