Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for receiving, verifying and storing inbound deliveries, carrying out outbound deliveries to the store, e-commerce customers and any other locations where they are needed, as well as maintaining the tidiness and organisation of the warehouse and tracking parcels with 3rdparty delivery logistics companies.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Coordinating inbound deliveries with the Warehouse Manager, being first point of contact for delivery partners and customer returns.
- Carrying out shop delivery runs, and e-commerce deliveries as required.
- Handling goods in, whether this be small parcels to large pallets, and entering the stock into the Warehouse Management System.
- Ongoing/regular counting of stock positions to ensure accurate physical reflection of stock control system.
- Organising stock levels of the Warehouse and allocating stock in the relevant areas as determined by the Warehouse Manager and the Stock and Merchandising Manager.
- Maintaining site tidiness across all areas of the warehouse, including the office space which will need to be a meeting-friendly area for the rest of the company.
- Ordering labels and any stationary needed to protect and track the stock across the whole business.
- Supporting the Stock and Merchandising Manager and Warehouse Manager in the planning of stocktakes, inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and completing necessary forms
**Skills required**:
- Positive, proactive and a dependable team player.
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Understanding of international logistics and shipping.
- Good organisational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Capable of managing & adapting to fluid & changing priority workloads.
- Smart, polite and focused on providing a flawless service.
- Experienced in manual handling and have knowledge of working in a warehouse with an understanding of handling high value items and objects.
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
