**Anaesthetic Practitioner - Team Leader (ODP)**:

Are you an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner looking for a temporary leadership role? Circle Health Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team at The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. As the Anaesthetic Practitioner - Team Leader (ODP), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients throughout a temporary assignment from 09/02/2024 to 09/02/2024.

**Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Anaesthetic Practitioners and ensuring the smooth operation of the anaesthetic department. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of the anaesthetic department, including coordinating schedules and allocating staff resources.

2. Providing leadership and guidance to Anaesthetic Practitioners, ensuring they deliver safe and effective patient care.

3. Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes to enhance patient outcomes.

4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as Surgeons and Theatre Managers, to ensure the efficient running of surgical procedures.

5. Assisting with the induction and training of new team members, ensuring they are competent and confident in their roles.

6. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

7. Acting as a resource for Anaesthetic Practitioners, providing clinical expertise and support in complex cases.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A recognized qualification as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or an Anaesthetic Nurse.

2. Extensive experience working as an Anaesthetic Practitioner, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.

3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues and patients.

5. The ability to work calmly under pressure and make quick decisions in critical situations.

6. A commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills in anaesthetic techniques and procedures.

**Working Hours and Payment Rate**:
You will be working from 08:00:00 to 18:00:00. The payment rate for this temporary assignment is £305.60 per shift.
