AWE have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Category Manager to join our growing team.
Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area
Salary starting at £65,000 dependant on experience

You will drive, implement and execute Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management for a complex group of categories, with the ultimate objective of leveraging and securing AWE supplier base to support its current and futurebusiness requirements, whilst mitigating risks. Be accountable for the end to end category performance for the category group and for driving and managing multimillion-pound Procurements.
**We would like you to have experience of Strategic Category Management along with**:
- Managing multiple stakeholders
- Pricing arrangements E.G. target cost incentive fee
- Intellectual Property Rights, Trade Controls and Earned Value Management
- Preparing tender packages, conducting tender conferences, developing evaluation criteria, analysing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, subcontractor selection
- Working within a Procurement Function at senior leve
- Driving and delivering change programmes
- Working in cross-functional teams across multiple programmes
- Working with NEC Contracts
- Outsourcing arrangements and TUPE
- Leading, managing, motivating and developing people/teams
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contractual arrangements
- Working in a similar industry**:MOD/NUCLEAR/DEFENSE/REGULATED**
Must be willing and able to obtain the necessary clearance for this role
