**Description**:
**What’s the opportunity?**

Working in a team of 10 people in a high volume environment to ensure your assigned base of suppliers are paid accurately and within agreed terms. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for working proactively and communicating with:

- Suppliers
- Purchase Ledger Supervisor
- Head Office budget holders
- Warehouse
- Store contacts

Building strong relationships by providing a trusted service.

**What does the role involve?**:

- Completing monthly supplier statements to a high quality alongside a list of actions to tidy the ledger
- Processing invoices and credit note for both stock vendors (furniture/flooring purchase orders) and non-stock vendors (operating business expenses)
- Proactively investigating and collaboratively working with contacts on invoice queries to ensure suppliers are paid on the next payment run

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Experience in Accounts payable and working in a high volume invoice environment
- Experience working in a medium/large business
- Strong attention to detail
- Brilliant people and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
