This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated **Global Payroll and Benefits Lead** to join the Corio’s rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.

You will be responsible for payroll processing for 15+ global entities. Corio partners with a global professional services organisation to process the various payrolls across the world. The in-house payroll team ensure accurate inputs, checking and reconciliation of the payrolls, managed via a monthly payroll calendar.

**Key Responsibilities**

Manage the payroll function including management of a global payroll and benefits administrator

Ensure accurate and timely payroll for all employees

Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding payroll matters. Answer all questions regarding policies and procedures.

Process, maintain, and verify accuracy of payroll information

Verify and process all employee payroll changes, including but not limited to, current, new and departing employees.

Process all benefits including those relating to payroll

Have an understanding of and comply with all payroll related laws and work as the main point of contact with outside system payroll vendor

Maintain payroll files based on applicable records retention laws, and compile correspondence letters.

Conduct payroll orientation with the company’s new hires and departing employees as required

Enter and process relocation and severance expenses for employees, as directed and in accordance with relevant global processes.

Prepare, calculate, and submit information required by third party organisations, including but not limited to year end.

Process monthly and quarterly tax payments and filings.

Responsible for the review and analysis of all payroll procedures and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

Monitor and report on taxable benefits, on an ongoing or ad-hoc basis.

Develop and assist with process improvements, system enhancements and operational activities.

Participate in month-end closings and annual audits as requested.

Prepare reconciliations as requested.

Create and/or prepare analyses and general ledger reporting as requested.

**Key skills, training, and experience**

**You will have**:

- Experience within a Global payroll & benefits environment
- Experience of managing audit processes (internal & external)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required (i.e., Advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and index abilities).
- Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively to a remote workforce.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask within time-sensitive constraints.
