**The Role**

Are you a seasoned SEO with a love of strategy, and excited at the prospect of stepping into a more strategic role? Then this role could be for you as we are working with a well-respected Bristol agency as they look to hire an SEO Strategist. This is an important role within the business, and as such, we’re looking for someone with a strong agency background who understands the moving parts within a development and digital agency, and how to plug into all of these effectively.

You will be strong on technical SEO, but we are looking here for an all-rounder who can explain the technical side of SEO to a non-technical audience. We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious and inquisitive, who is always seeking to find ways to improve websites both from a development point of view but also the user experience and customer journey. Your clients will look to you for guidance, and so you will be a true extension of their business in this role.

This role is an amazing opportunity to join an agency that prides itself on genuinely high quality work, and you will be working with some large-scale clients, which will mean you will have plenty of time allocated to really get under the skin of your clients’ SEO, rather than being spread thinly across a huge volume of small retainer clients.

**Skills and Experience**
- At least 5 years of experience working in an agency-side SEO role
- Demonstrable SEO strategy experience
- Confident with clients and being involved in new business pitches
- You must have knowledge of advanced tracking and GA4 as well as other SEO tools and best practices
- Be analytical and data-focused in your approach
- Work well and collaboratively with the wider team of account managers and platform specialist
