**Cleaner**

Hanover are recruiting for a friendly and positive individual to join us as a Development Cleaner. This** permanent position involves working part-time 6 hours per week**. The efforts of the Development Cleaner are truly appreciated as the team work to ensure our customers feel safe and secure at home, living full and independent lives.

**Main Responsibilities**

As the Development Cleaner your contributions towards our positive and professional atmosphere will include:

- Cleaning common areas i.e. offices, corridors, kitchens, lounge, staff room.
- Cleaning development lavatories, accommodation, bath, and shower areas etc.
- Sanitising surfaces, furniture and office equipment as required by rota.
- Removal of waste and preparation of guest bedrooms.
- Working in accordance with infection prevention control, COSSHH, Health and Safety guidelines.

**About You**

Essential
- To join us, you need to have a genuine passion for helping people.
- Demonstrable experience of empathising with and caring for the elderly.
- A flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude.
- Able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with basic writing skills.
