**TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT - OFFICE & ACCOUNTS MANAGER**

**FULL TIME - MONDAY TO FRIDAY**

**8:30AM - 5PM**

**DERBY - DE21**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Ensure correct salary and wage information is sent and confirmed
- Ensure salaries and PAYE payment to HMRC are paid on the correct day
- Ensure quarterly VAT payment and filing is completed, checked, and reconcile by the 7th of the month, following the quarter
- Corporation tax payment (if applicable) are made by the 1st of June each year
- Reconcile purchase ledger and sales ledger records in a timely manner
- Management of the Sage system, to also include dealing with errors on Sage, update the Sage programme for all users
- Develop and refine all month end tasks
- Interface with the Managing Director as part of the senior leadership team, working on strategies for management priorities and implementing business targets and goals
- Suggest and implement (on approval) of any improvements to the economic running of the offices and factory
- Pro-actively search for any grants/funding which may be available for improving the carbon footprint
- Produce all journals for salaries/wages, accruals and prepayments, control accounts and any corrections
- Produce the financial management reports
- Complete any day-to-day general administration e.g., scanning, printing, filing, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post, to meet the needs of the business.
- Annual review of estate bills to ensure the best deal is sought
- Maintain professional customer liaison
- Be the person responsible for the Office, ensuring the space is tidy and professional conduct is always adhered to
- Work with the Senior Administrator to monitor and record absence/ late for all
- Carry out duties or projects as may be required
