As a painter and decorator at Downside School, your tasks will involve enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the Schools interior and exterior spaces through painting and other decorative techniques.

Full details are available in the job description, but responsibilities will include surface preparation, general maintenance, painting and decorating projects as part of an established and welcoming maintenance team.

Located in Stratton on the Fosse, our School includes a variety of buildings of differing size and age set in beautiful surroundings which includes residential accommodation for our pupils and communal areas and bathrooms.

This is a physical job that involves lifting and carrying of equipment. Our buildings are located over several floors and the work will, in some areas, require climbing flights of stairs. This role involves working indoors and outdoors.

**Contractual Details**:
**Salary**: Competitive Salary in the range of £22 - £25k per annum, dependent on experience

**Hours**:39 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8:00 16:30, Friday 8:00 15:30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, complimentary lunch provided.

**Contract**: Permanent
