An opportunity has arisen within the Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust for a Domestic Supervisor to work within the Domestic Services team and help maintain the high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.

The Domestic Supervisor will be responsible for delivering on a day-to-day basis, the cleaning service to the Trust ensuring compliance with the National Cleaning Standards.

The post requires experience of dealing with people, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently using initiative to decide on most appropriate action, and awareness of infection control protocols and procedures.

The part time vacancy is 30 hrs per week, 4 days per week, the shifts are from 6am - 2pm, working alternate weekends.

To deliver on a day-to-day basis, the cleaning service to the Trust ensuring compliance with the National Cleaning Standards.

Allocating duties to domestic staff, including preparing rota's, annual leave allocation and sickness documentation ensuring adequate cover of service to users.

Sheffield Children’s is one of three independent, specialist paediatric hospitals in the country, providing dedicated healthcare for children and young people across community, mental health and acute specialist settings.
