Poppies' Coffee shop is community hub within the garden centre, where we offer a range of hot drinks and fresh light bites to enhance our customers shopping experience.

we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join our team to assist with the daily tasks within the store, this will include but is not limited to the following
- taking customers orders and processing transactions through the tills
- making up, and serving both drink orders and fresh food.
- waiting and clearing tables
- general housekeeping through out the day,
- taking on a supervisory role including ordering stock when the supervisor is off.

Training will be given to successful applicants but previous experience within the industry is a must, and a basic food hygiene level 2 is preferred.

This job role will be working 34 hours per week over 5 days comprised of a mix of 6 and 8 hour days, and will include alternate weekend working, with one fixed weekday off.

on top of normal duties two days each week the successful applicant will need to step up into a supervisory role and lead the team when the main supervisor is off, this may be extended to cover annual leave.
