Our UK operations are active at every stage of the grains and oilseeds supply chain, purchasing all types and grades of combinable crops from farmers across the UK. The company markets and distributes these to a growing customer-base in the food, feed and bioenergy sectors at home and abroad.

**The Role**

We now have an exciting opening for an experienced **Farm Trader **to join our expanding team, based at our office in **Ipswich**.

This is a great opportunity for an established, driven Farm Trader who is looking for their next challenge. Joining one of our key teams, the main purpose and responsibilities of the role will include:

- Purchasing grain, pulses and oilseeds from farms and selling seed fertiliser and other crop products.
- Working with the rest of the team to identify prospective customers, promote the benefit of trading with COFCO UK, and open new accounts.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships through providing technical guidance and product support to customers
- To ensure that accounts are paid within terms agreed, and customer credit is controlled.
- To undertake on farm grain sampling.
- To ensure the maintenance of an effective working knowledge of all crops/commodities traded, and of seed/fertiliser and other crop products sold.
