**About this Role**

This role is working within the Behaviour Support Team to support with all of the administrative needs of the team, where excellent organisational skills are essential in order to deal with the variety of tasks that need to be undertaken.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Administrative Assistant to the Behaviour Support Team to undertake a range of administrative duties.

**The main duties of the role will include (but is not limited to)**:

- Undertake work related to the behaviour area as directed by the Behaviour Lead on a daily basis
- Maintain accurate records and track progress of work
- Prepare routine correspondence (including suspension/exclusion letters and other associated paperwork)
- Manage meeting rooms and deal with hospitality
- Deal with arrangements for attending meetings and conferences
- Input and retrieve data using computerised systems
- Collate and prepare information from a variety of sources
- Liaise with the Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour and Attitudes) regarding suspensions/exclusions and inclusions
- Collate and distribute all documentation relating to suspensions/exclusions as directed by the Behaviour Support Team and/or Senior Leadership Team
- Ensure efficient communication with Parent/Carers and relevant agencies with regard to suspensions/exclusions/inclusions
- Enter the required information on the student database in line with the school’s Positive Behaviour policy
- Prepare relevant information for the Governing Body and/or relevant committees in liaison with the Assistant Head (Behaviour and Attitudes)
- Prioritise work to meet conflicting deadline

- competent using a range of computer programmes (experience of using SIMS and/or ClassCharts would be helpful although not essential as training will be provided)

- ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- have excellent written and oral communication skills
- able to deal with matters sensitively and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
