A rare opportunity has arisen to join Carr's Billington Agriculture Ltd at our Penrith Branch assisting in the efficient operations of the branch.

**THE JOB**

To assist in the efficient operations of the Branch regarding deliveries and service, the retail parts and small machinery, and the maintenance of a tidy and well-presented warehouse and yard. Assisting with the stocking and delivery requirements of the Branch. Liaise with other members of staff in the Branch to ensure smooth trading relationships.

To organise the Warehouse and Yard, covering the following key areas.
- Actively supports other team members to ensure targets and tasks are completed
- Consistently achieves personal targets and consistently assists team members to achieve team success
- Delivers good working relationships with all team members
- Promotes the business and work to a required standard
- Follows company procedures to complete major tasks without assistance
- Works to get routine daily tasks done in time and to the standard required
- Follows through customer enquiries, requests and problems and deals with them promptly
- Confidently deals with customer problems and is able to establish customer needs
- Identifies with customers and understands their needs and priorities
- To ensure all policies and procedures in respect of Health, Safety and Environment are adhered to, in order to provide a safe and secure environment for self, staff and customers
- To be aware of the risks in the work environment and their potential impact on self, colleagues, customers and visitors and take action to address them
- To attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills
- To assist in maintaining the UFAS and FIAS Merchant Schemes accreditation.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**
- Enthusiastic, takes responsibility and always extremely organised and proactive.
- Active listener
- Team player, with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Practical problem solver.
- Continuously looking to improve the warehouse and yard areas.
- Qualified Forklift Truck Driver with experience in actively loading and unloading vehicles.
- Full UK drivers license so able to assist in Van deliveries to customers.
