Stores Stock Controller

Job Overview:
Duties
- Maintaining accurate records of stock inventory;
- Ensuring that stock levels are maintained at a level to suit demand by liaising with the Maintenance Manager;
- Maintaining a tidy, secure and organised stores and yard area;
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received;
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock;
- Receipting goods on Sage to ensure the finance team are able to accurately match up and pay invoices;
- Organising and delivering good from the stores to the department that requires it whilst maintaining safe manual handling practices;
- To prepare PPE for new starters and complete the relevant paperwork to confirm it has been issued;
- To ensure applicable risk assessments and safe systems of work are adhered to in relation to stores Management;
- To communicate with colleagues and customers politely and professionally ensuring that queries are resolved in a timely manner;
- Keep line manager up to date with issues to allow for continual development to ensure an excellent stores service is maintained;
- Be an efficient and productive member of the team. Plan, prioritise and take direction to facilitate the aims and development of the Company;
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills as required;
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures at all times in particular the Company’s Health and Safety policy.

- Maintenance parts identification and understanding (essential);

- Excellent communication skills (essential);
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy (essential);
- Mechanical process knowledge (desirable);
- Basic IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office: Word, excel and Outlook (essential);
- Self-motivating (essential).
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
