**Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am till 5pm**
**Salary: Up to £30k**
**Duration: Full Time (all year round)**

Reed Further Education are proud to be working with a fantastic music focused post-16 specialist provider supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged 16 - 25 year olds across their three bases in Swanley, Canterbury and Brighton.

They are looking for a SEN/EHCP Co-ordinator to be akey member of the team by helping to develop their SEND policy and practices, including directly training our frontline teaching and support staffing SEND requirements and best practice.

**The Role**:

- Maintain current knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory duties and share knowledge as appropriate with colleagues and the wider staff team.
- Plan, coordinate and implement annual and in-year reviews for every student with an EHCP in line with statutory time scales.
- Experience and knowledge of reviewing and monitoring student needs

**What you will need**:

- Will have several years experience working with young people who have various SEND needs
- Experience and knowledge of the SEND legislation, in particular relation to statutory duties around supporting students with SEND
- Experience and knowledge of the EHCP annual review process
- Experience in teaching or training colleagues around SEND
- This role is ideal for individuals who have previously worked for Local Authority SEND teams or in similar EHCP Co-Ordinator/Administrator positions in post-16 provision with experience of legislative requirements and related systems and processes.
