My client is a highly successful and well established firm of Chartered Accountants based near Uckfield. They are currently seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their Audit and Accounts team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a career focussed and enthusiastic trainee with a strong work ethic and a desire to develop a career within an accountancy practice to join a leading firm at an exciting time of growth an expansion. Extensive on the job training will be provided for the successful applicant, combined with a full study package.

Working as part of the Audit and Accounts team, you will gain exposure to all areas of Accounts, Audit and Tax which will include the following:

- Draft and prepare accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and LLP’s.
- Draft Statutory Accounts for limited companies.
- Assist with the independent examination and verification of client accounts and records.
- Assist in the production of personal tax returns.
- Assisting in external audits

To be considered, you may be a recent graduate or graduating this year, or you may have been working in a different field and are looking to make a career change into Accountancy. What is important is that you can demonstrate a genuine desire to work in Accounts and Audit along with strong communication skills and a good level of numeracy.
