**Job Purpose**
- Prepare tax assignments for a diverse range of clients, managing your own portfolio and being the go-to tax advisor.
- Proactively problem solve, working closely with clients to interpret requirements.
- Support the Tax Partner, ensuring deliverables are meeting expectations, deadlines, and budgets.
- Liaise with clients and provide guidance to support their tax activities.
- Offer tax advice to clients including identifying opportunities for tax planning.
- Mentor junior staff by reviewing work with a constructive approach and scoping training opportunities.
- Liaise with HMRC and other third parties on behalf of clients, proactively progressing queries.
- Scope tax new business opportunities, monitoring the delivery of tax assignments with a commercial mindset to ensure the function is supporting the firm’s strategic direction.
- Enthusiastically undertake professional development opportunities, working along a clear route for progression.

**Job Requirements**
- CTA, AAT, or ATT qualified, with previous tax experience within practice.
- Or qualified by extensive tax experience.
- Previous supervisory experience, reviewing work and overseeing workflow.
- Strong communication and advisory skills.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and highly organised.
- A team player able to bring out the best in others.
