For some children and young people there are lots of barriers to school attendance such as lack of motivation, disaffection, emotional and mental health difficulties and behavioural issues. This is where you will make a real difference - by developing strategies, options and alternatives to overcome these barriers - all supported by a reassuring mentoring approach.

You will shine in this challenging yet immensely rewarding role where your experience of care planning and mentoring young people will be a huge benefit as will the Level 3 qualification in Education or Care which is essential for the role.
