**The Role**
As a Lift Planner, you will be responsible for providing and ensuring an effective lift plan, acting as a direct point of contact for all lift planning requirements. You will provide POS provision to enable internal and external clients to carry out On Track Plant operations on the Network Rail Managed Infrastructure and Line Management to CCs and POS.
Key responsibilities include:

- Responsibility for Lift planning (both OTP & Civils)
- Responsibility for identifying & assigning sufficient & competent POS representatives & MC/CC’s
- Creating effective client relationships
- Providing a direct point of contact for all lift planning requirements.
- Managing arrangements for assessing information provided by the PC and our own site visits, prior to Incorporating into the lift plan.
- Contributing and providing advice regarding most appropriate machine & attachment allocations
- Contributing and providing advice regarding competencies required
- Briefing out the lift plan and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities.
- Providing on call support where required.
- Conducting site audits on POS/CC and MC when required
- Taking on the role of POS/CC when require by the business
- Any other responsibilities as requested by your line manager
- Strong experience of working in Rail and Civils Environments
- Experience of OTP operations
- PTS certification
- To be Lift Planner & Tandem lift planner certified
- To be Crane Controller Certified
- Full UK drivers’ licence
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to positively influence and challenge in an appropriate manner

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
