Location: Camborne area, Cornwall
Hours of Work: 48 hours basic, plus overtime to meet seasonal business requirements
Reporting to: Farm Manager
Contract: Permanent

Rowe Farming is one of the largest growers and packer of Daffodils as a cut flower in the UK, supplying both Export and UK retail Markets.

**Vacancy**

We are seeking a permanent (full-time) Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team.

As Forklift Operator, you will ensure that all fork lift product movements in the yard/packhouse are completed effectively, efficiently and safely.

Main Responsibilities:

- Perform all forklift duties effectively, efficiently and safely within the allocated department.
- Load product into and unload from daffodil bulb grader.
- Stack and move product where required in yard/field.
- Ensure the forklift truck is filled with diesel.
- Comply with all H&S procedures and conduct daily forklift checks.
- Ensure you operate your forklift in accordance with your training.
- Ensure your area of work is kept safe for all employees, contractors or visitors.

**Key Attributes**
- Must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck certificate.
- Must have a reasonable command of written and spoken English.
- Experience in agriculture/horticulture is ideal.
- Effective team player.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and varying priorities.
- Ability to work long, flexible hours.
- Full UK driving licence.
