Lovett Care is seeking a **Kitchen Supervisor** to join our amazing team at Bradshaw Manor. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our team to deliver a quality service for a diverse group of residents.

**Job Purpose**:
- Prepare all foods, following the training manual.
- Provide catering services in a timely manner and in accordance with resident’s needs.
- Cleaning down the immediate areas on completion of each task to ensure cleanliness.
- To assist in cleaning crockery, cutlery and equipment as specified in the daily cleaning tasks and as designated by the Kitchen Supervisor using the dish washing machine.
- To set up, clear and clean the dining room service area.
- Liaise with care team members and residents in a polite and person-centred way.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Ensure food deliveries are received in accordance with temperature guidelines.
- Verify goods received to orders placed.
- Food deliveries to be put away in accordance with the daily storage system.
- Daily food to be picked in accordance with resident’s orders and dietary needs.
- Traceability information to be documented.
- Meals to be regenerated as per the instructions.
- Regeneration Trolleys to be maintained as per the training manual.
- To ensure meals are re-generated to the correct temperature and all temperature control procedures are carried out in line with Company Procedures and legislation.
- Be responsible for understanding Health and Safety requirements be clean, hygienic, and well always presented.
- Any incidents or accidents to be reported, and appropriately recorded and actioned.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
- Completion of mandatory E-Learnings.
- To embed and demonstrate our company values throughout your working day.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the team.
- Ability to follow instructions with care.
- Work on your own initiative or as part of a team and to be proactive in identifying duties that need to be completed.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with care team members to understand the dietary needs of residents that use the service.
- Be polite and respectful in any communication with the team, residents and or external visitors.
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- When interacting with residents, be person-centred, and promote respect and dignity.
**Qualifications**:
- Approved Food Hygiene Certificate _(Desirable) _
- Good English written and verbal
**You will have**:
- Experience of working in a care environment _(Desirable but not essential)_
- Experience in role applied or a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Genuine interest in working within catering services
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and personal responsibility
- Experience of working with kitchen equipment and appliances and understanding the risks involved
- Satisfactory DBS Check
